Mauricio Gomm Speaks on Panel for Arbitration Experts Convened by the OAS

As part of its initiative to promote international arbitration in the Americas, the Organization of American States (OAS) brought together experts from throughout the region for a private event aimed at capacity building for the judiciary in relation to international arbitration and the treaties ratified by OAS member states. The OAS invited one representative from the various member states, and Mauricio Gomm was invited to represent Brazil. More information is available on the OAS website

Quinn Smith to Chair 11th Annual ILAC

Diego Gosis Quoted in GAR on Capacity Building for Developing States

“It’s the kind of capacity-building exercise that any proponent of the international investment treaty system should support,” states Diego Gosis, continuing on to explain the importance of training developing states and their instrumentalities in the workings of investment arbitration. Diego will be speaking at the first North American event hosted by Africa International Legal Awareness, a UK non-profit that works to train African governments on treaty arbitration.
